The Premier’s Prayer Breakfast was May 10 tues. 7:30 am! And it was an excellent breakfast. The usual early morning food was on the menu, cold orange juice, iced water, muffins that were excellent, scrambled eggs cooked to perfection, a bit fluffy with a hint of some herb that made them. There was baked tomatoes, tasty beyond belief potatoes baked to perfection and the only downfall was the sushi bacon…..but the brewed to perfect coffee made up for that. The Premier of Alberta Prayer breakfast was held at the Shaw Conference center in Edmonton.
The usual whose who of Alberta were there, the Mayor of Edmonton gave a reading from the old testament, Her worship Melissa Blake, Mayor of Ft. MacMurray introduced the Premier. Dr David Swann Leader of the official opposition read from the new testament. Megan Houle performed a most excellent rendition of “Hallelujah” which was in the crowds eyes the highlight of the entire event, her music was so awesome!
I was sitting with Ray Danyluk, the Alberta minister of infrastructure and the Honourable Verlyn Olson, the Alberta minister of justice and Attorney General. I did point out to the Honourable Verlyn Olson, the Alberta minister of justice and Attorney General how Alberta farmers and

Alberta could prosper by growing hemp for the 3.6 Billion dollar toilet paper market in America, and the approx. $50 Billion dollar world market, as hemp grows in Alberta and is a very cool enviro-friendly product in the worlds eye.
Honourable Verlyn Olson, the Alberta minister of justice and Attorney General also agreed with me, Dave Dowling that a province could if it had the bravery, use the not withstanding clause in the charter of rights and freedoms to legalize hemp so rural farming Alberta could prosper by growing hemp for the world toilet paper market, and other such paper products used by the world. Honourable Verlyn Olson, the Alberta minister of justice and Attorney General did point out how a government like the harper government 3 would probably fight tooth and nail in the courts to stop a province from doing this so it’s rural farmers can actually prosper. I had to agree with Honourable Verlyn Olson, the Alberta minister of justice and Attorney General that the harper government 3 would probably do that and worse to a province that dare be brave enough to stand up for its rural farming communities ability to prosper in the world markets by growing an enviro-friendly plant that thousands of products can be made from.
